17th Annual High Plains Snow Goose Festival celebrates these amazing birds, abundant wildlife and historical heritage of Southeastern Colorado each February. Annualy the snow geese arrive in the plains painting an amazing picture for wildilfe viewer of every age! They settle on the scattered lakes and bodies of water on the prairie and feed in the surrounding fields of corn and milo, making the area a favorite rest stop on their migration.

Come join us Feb. 7-10,2019 for a weekend of wildlife viewing and serenity of the plains open skies and beautiful places! We have tours that will be enjoyed by individuals of all ages. There is a craft show and silenct auction that is open to the pucblic and free to attend. 

Keynote Speaker- Ted Floyd​ will tell provide us with insight on on birding and some great personal experinces through out the weekend. 
There is a registration fee for tours that are guided. Most of these tours will provide transportation from a centeral location and meals.
