Full Moon Hike- State Forest State Park

Saturday, January 11: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Come out and enjoy the snow light up under the full moon! The potluck dinner starts at the Moose Visitor Center at 6:00 pm. After filling up on good food, at 7:30 pm, you can hike/ snowshoe/ cross-country ski just over a mile of the Gould Loop to the Chocolate Cabin. The Chocolate Cabin will be marked by a warm and toasty campfire where you can enjoy some cookies and cocoa. The event will go until 9:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

This event is free with an $8 daily park vehicle pass or an annual pass.  Bring a dish to share and water, snacks, several layers of clothes and snowshoes of cross country skis.  Snowshoes are available for rent at the Moose Visitor Center for $5 per pair.
