Boyd Lake State Park Nature Bike Ride

Friday, August 30: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Join us at Boyd Lake State Park on Friday evenings for a relaxed bike ride through the park. We will be viewing birds and other wildlife as well as local plant life along the way. All ages are welcome. We might catch a glimpse of a kestrel, osprey, or other birds of prey, a great blue heron or waterfowl, a variety of reptiles and amphibians, a multitude of small mammals, or even a bald eagle. Colorado Parks and Wildlife is hosting the event with Interpretive Naturalist Brady Toll. If inclement weather is expected, the event may be canceled. It gets cool at night so please dress appropriately. Guests may want to bring water, binoculars, a helmet, field guides, and/or anything else you may need. RSVP is not mandatory but appreciated. Ride at your own risk. Please call the Visitor Center at (970) 669-1739 and ask for Brady (ext. 19) or e-mail dnr_interp.boydlake@state.co.us with any questions or to RSVP.
