Education and Bird Banding Station

This event runs August 24th thru October 13th.
Stop by the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies' Bird Banding Station for an up-close and personal experience with migrating songbirds using Barr Lake as a stopover point.
Observe a biologist collect data and placing bands on birds captured harmlessly in mist nests.
Open 6 days a week (T-Sun) August 24th - October 13th from 7:30 am - 11:30 am. Station is dependent on weather and may close early or not be open at all. Call the Nature Center for an updated daily schedule.
Admission per vehicle is $8 daily pass or annual parks pass
