Challenges, such as habitat alteration or destruction, invasive species, population growth, expanded recreation use and education may adversely affect or limit our ability to make infor​med conservation decisions and management actions​.

​However, many of these challenges also represent opportunities to work proactively with partners to achieve positive conservation outcomes. CPW is committed to identifying the challenges that represent threats to conservation efforts and wildlife populations in order to enact beneficial solutions.
