Mueller offers year-round camping, including basic and backcountry camping, electric hook-ups, ADA-accessibility, equestrian sites and RV camping. There are also three fully furnished cabins. Reservations are required.

Mueller’s three beautiful, rustic log cabins are nestled among meadows and conifer forests. Fantastic views of Pikes Peak, tall pine trees and a variety of wildlife add to the charm of these mountain retreats.

Reserve a Campsite

A reservation is required to camp at Mueller State Park, and it’s easy to make one. Reservations can be made for campsites and cabins online at cpwshop.com or by phone at 1-800-244-5613. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance of your arrival date. Visitors are required to display a vehicle pass and have a valid reservation. Reservations cannot be made at the park.

Campsites 133 and 134 are equestrian sites. Equestrian campsite reservations must be made by phone at 1-800-244-5613.
Equestrian Campsite Fee: $36 plus $10 per animal, per night, per site (two horses per site maximum)
When you camp at Mueller State Park, check-in time is 1 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out time is 12 p.m. (noon) on the day of departure. A reservation is necessary, and camping is allowed only in designated areas. A minimum reservation of two nights is required for cabins. The maximum stay is 14 days within a 28-day period. A maximum of six people, two motorized vehicles and only one camping unit is allowed per individual site.
Mueller’s three group sites can accommodate 24 to 66 campers, depending on the site. Parking on vegetation may result in a fine. Please do not tie anything, including hammocks, to the trees.
Pets are allowed in the camping and picnic areas at Mueller, but not at the cabins. All pets must be under control and on a maximum six-foot leash at all times, and not attached to any park signs, trees, shrubs or hydrants. Pets may not be left unattended, and pet owners must promptly clean up after their pets. Pets are not allowed on the hiking trails or in the backcountry.
Mueller has 29 electrical sites available within the Peak View Campground and the Revenuers Ridge Campground during the winter. The comfort station, with flush toilets, remains open. Vault toilets are open at Outlook Ridge, Peak View Campground and across from site 87. Water is available at the outside spigot at the comfort station. All other hydrants are closed, so we suggest bringing your own water. The dump station is dry dump only, which means you will not have water to rinse out your equipment.

CABINS
Stay in Style
Mueller’s three cabins offer a comfortable, serene mountain retreat after a day of outdoor activities. All cabins require a minimum stay of two nights. Cabins can accommodate up to eight people, depending on the cabin. Cabins include heat, a gas fireplace, linens for the beds and a basic kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and minimal silverware. Cabin restrooms include a toilet, sink, shower and towels. Two of the cabins are wheelchair accessible.
