Colorado’s Response to COVID-19:

On Friday, May 14, 2021, Governor Jarod Polis issued Executive Order D 2021 103 and CDPHE has issued the Second Amended Public Health Order 20-38. Following CDC guidance, statewide mask mandates have been lifted with the exception of limited congregant areas, such as schools, hospitals, etc.

It remains your responsibility to Know Before You Go and understand county restrictions where you live and where you travel within the state by checking the Dial Status at covid19.colorado.gov.

How is CPW responding to COVID-19?

  • There are no COVID-19 closures to Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices, visitor centers or campgrounds at this time. Occupancy limits may be in place based on county dial status.

  • No changes or impacts to hunting and/or fishing licenses, passes, reservations or registrations are in place at this time.

  • Please be prepared with hand sanitizer when outdoors and unable to wash your hands, and do your part by wearing face coverings and maintaining social distancing if you have not been vaccinated, and staying home if you are feeling unwell.
