Putting natives into the landscape is a high priority for Stewardship. It is
our goal to protect, maintain, restore and enhance native ecosystems and limit
non-native vegetation in Parks. Healthy native plant communities are essential
for wildlife habitat and resistance to noxious weed invasions.
The diversity of our plant communities also draws visitors to enjoy the
scenic beauty of Parks, especially during the wildflower season!
Stewardship & CNAP has produced a comprehensive revegetation
guide that details out native species and techniques for various native
plant communities throughout Colorado. We no longer have hard copies of
the revegetation guide. Please download a copy of the revegetation
guide and print it for your use.
