Colorado River State Park offers a variety of fishing opportunities year round. Whether you desire to fish quiet ponds or river waters for warm or cold species, James M. Robb- Colorado River State Park has it all!
Fruita, Corn Lake and Island Acres are stocked throughout the year. Fishing is great during the spring and early summer season. Ice fishing is also allowed when the ice gets thick enough. Be aware of ice thickness and the locations of ice at each section of the park.
Hand carry and electric motorized vessels are permitted on the lakes at Fruita, Connected Lakes, Corn Lake and Island Acres. Boating and surface contact is not allowed at the Colorado River Wildlife Area.
