The Boat Ramp and ANS Station remain open at this time.
Your boat MUST be inspected before launching.
Boat Ramp and ANS Inpection Hours are currently:
The Boat Ramp Gate will be closed and locked when the ANS station closes for the day.
Even if your boat has a seal, there will be no launching outside of ANS Inspection hours until further notice.
The boat ramp and ANS inspection stations will remain open through November 25, 2020. Boat inspections and boat launches can be done through the winter months 8-4 by appointment only, and only if there is a trained inspector available. To schedule, please call the Visitor Center at 970-883-2208
If your boat has been to Lake Powell, a decon is required, and decons may also be required for boats arriving from out of state. Of course, decons are required of any boat showing evidence of possible contamination.
Visitors with boats registered out-of-state must purchase a yearly ANS Stamp in order to launch in Colorado. You may purchase one before you visit at CPWshop.com, or come by the Visitor Center. Colorado registered boats pay for an ANS stamp at the time of registration.
Please contact New Mexico for the most recent updates on the New Mexico side of the Lake. 505-632-2278
Launching in Colorado is permitted at the boat ramp only.
Please remember to bring sunscreen, insect repellent and clothes appropriate for changes in the weather.
