Yurts and Huts
Yurts, reminiscent of tents used by nomads on the steppes of Mongolia and Siberia, are round tents on a wooden frame with circular skylights and windows to provide illumination. Huts are minimal shelters accessed by off-road-capable vehicles, or hikers in the summer and skiers in the winter. Yurts and huts are available year-round. All yurts and huts require a minimum two night stay.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park
Golden, Colorado
Yurts among aspen groves and pine-covered hills offer the perfect escape from the city. Yurts offer rustic accommodations perfect for someone who wants to be close to nature year-round and have a heater, electrical outlets, table and chairs, and beds for six people.
Mancos State Park
Mancos, Colorado
Yurts at Mancos have a wooden lattice wall and ceiling, complemented by a wooden door, pinewood floors, a ceiling light/fan and a screened skylight in the center of the domed roof. Three large, screened windows, a skylight and a ceiling fan keep these ultra-modern yurts cool and comfortable in the summer, while the insulated walls and propane heater/gas-log fireplace keep them warm and cozy in the winter.
Pearl Lake State Park
Clark, Colorado
