Outdoor Skills, Safety and Responsibility
Women Afield is dedicated to teaching women basic skills in hunting, shooting sports and angling. The program is designed to allow women to learn with others in a comfortable environment. We offer seminars and clinics designed to teach basic skills in the classroom or on the range with plenty of “hands on” experience. In addition, the Women Afield Program offers opportunities to participate in mentored small game and big game hunting.
Applications for mentored hunting opportunities are made available between May 1st and July 15th of each year. These hunts are designed for women age 18 or older who have very little to no hunting experience. You must be a Colorado resident to apply.
