  • Amphitheater

    The amphitheater in Cove Campground​ is a popular gathering area for Saturday evening programs which are usually presented from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

  • Boat Ramps

    A four-lane boat ramp is located on the west side of Jackson Lake.

  • Camper Services Building

    In addition to vault toilets, there are camper services buildings (flush toilets and showers) located between Sandpiper and Fox Hills Campgrounds, and in Pelican, Cove, Lakeside and Dunes Campgrounds. 

    NOTE: These buildings are winterized during the off-season; however, the vault toilets remain open.

  • Campgrounds

    Jackson Lake features 260 campsites, including a group campground with 18 sites, and a group picnic area​ for groups of up to 100.

  • Conference Rooms

    A conference room​ for up to 40 people is available to rent. For details, contact the park office (1.970.645.2551).

  • Dump Station

    The dump station is available to our camping guests and is located between the west gate entrance and the visitor center. Water hydrants, with potable water, are also available.

  • Entrance Station

    Entrance stations are located at the south and west gate entrance. The entrance stations will be manned on weekends (and most weekdays) beginning in mid to late April through Labor Day weekend. During the off-season, be prepared to deposit exact change or personal checks at the self-serve brick wall located beyond the west entrance station.

  • Event Facilities

    Jackson Lake is the perfect location for: family reunions, graduations, church picnics, company meetings, beautiful outdoor weddings or any fun group outings. Contact the park office (1.970.645.2551) or visit our Group Facilities​ page.

  • Fishing Piers

    Fishermen may fish from the north side of the boat ramp but park at the boat ramp parking lot. Additionally, a fishing jetty is located south of the marina, and is a great place to drop in a line when water levels are at full capacity.

  • Group Campground

    Dunes Group Campground​ is available throughout the year. For details, contact the park office (1.970.645.2551). 

    There are a total of 18 sites. Up to 6 people are allowed per campsite. Each campsite is allowed 1 hardside unit plus 1 tent -or- 2 tents.

  • Group Picnic Area

    The Centennial Group Picnic area, adjacent to the Dunes Group Campground, can accommodate groups of up to 100. It is available for reservations throughout the year. For more information, visit the Group Facilities page.

  • Marina

    Shoreline Marina​ is located on the west side of the lake and rents fishing boats, jet-skis, ski boats, and equipment. They can be reached at 1.970.645.BOAT(2628).

  • Park Office

    The park office is located at the Visitor Center and is open 7 days/week, as staffing allows.

  • Picnic Sites

    Individual tables are available first-come, first-served and are located at the inlet, outlet, boat ramp, south and west swim beaches, and the Cottonwood picnic area. View locations of picnic sites on the park map​.

  • Showers

    There are camper services buildings (flush toilets and coin-operated showers) located between Sandpiper and Fox Hills Campgrounds, and in Pelican, Cove, Lakeside and Dunes Campgrounds. These buildings are winterized during the winter. Visit the Camping​ page for more information.

  • Swim Beach

    Swimming is allowed in the no wake zones on the west and south shores.  Swimming is not allowed beyond the no wake buoys.  Swimming is at your own risk so take the necessary precautions. There is no swimming allowed around the boat ramp and in the inlet canal.  Boaters please use caution when entering the no wake zone.  Look for swimmers.
