Lake Pueblo offers three unique group picnic pavilions available by reservation for your group and special events.
Our pavilions are great for:
- family reunions
- business get-togethers
- casual weddings
- any large gathering of up to 100 people

About the Pavilions
Big Lizard Pavilion
The Big Lizard pavilion is located on the north side of the park and offers views of the Pueblo Dam, the North Shore Marina, and the lake.
This pavilion offers:
- 14 picnic tables
- 2 ADA accessible handicap picnic tables
- Vault toilets
- Overhead lighting
- 6 power outlets (20AMP)
- 2 charcoal grills
- An outdoor fireplace located in the middle of the pavilion (firewood can be purchased any of the gates and the visitor center)
- Water spigot for drinking water
- 3 trash cans
- 26 parking spaces
- A volleyball pit (bring your own net/ball)
- A horseshoe pit (bring your own)
Lone Owl Pavilion
The Lone Owl pavilion is located on the north side of the park and offers views of the Pueblo Dam, the North Shore Marina, and the lake.
This pavilion offers:
- 14 picnic tables
- 2 ADA accessible handicap picnic tables
- Vault toilets
- Overhead lighting
- 4 power outlets (20AMP)
- 2 charcoal grills
- An outdoor fireplace located in the middle of the pavilion (firewood can be purchased any of the gates and the visitor center)

Big Lizard and Lone Owl Pavilions are located on the north side of the park. It has views of the Pueblo Dam, the North Shore Marina as well as the lake. These group pavilions are great for group gatherings for up to 100 people.
Quail Run Pavilion
Quail Pavilion is located on the south side of the park (a short distance from the visitor center) and offers views of Pueblo Dam, the South Shore Marina, and the lake.
This pavilion offers:
- 7 Picnic tables
- 2 ADA accessible handicap picnic tables
- Vault toilets
- 4 trash cans
- Overhead lighting
- 12 power outlets (20AMP)
- 2 charcoal grills
- An outdoor fireplace located in the middle of the pavilion (firewood can be purchased any of the gates and the visitor center)
- Water spigot for drinking water
- 22 parking spaces
- A volleyball pit (bring your own net/ball)
- A horseshoe pit (bring your own)
Rental Information
- When rented for the day, access to and use of all pavilions is from 10 am to 10 pm. Use of the pavilions outside of this time frame may be accommodated, if staffing allows, with an extra fee. Please talk to Park Staff if you need early entry into the area.
- There is no camping or overnight use of group pavilions.
- Any of the group pavilions and associated parking lots are built to accommodate groups of 80-100 people. Any group over 100 people may require a Special Use Agreement and additional fees. This is at the discretion of the park managers.
- Commercial activities, events selling tickets or any other items, groups with a band or DJ, blow-up bounce-houses, pony rides, large staked tents or events that require extra set-up or services provided by park staff will require a Special Activity Agreement and may result in extra fees and conditions.
- Every vehicle entering the park to attend an event at a group pavilion must have a valid park pass. The rental fee does not include this required fee.
- Daily passes are $10 per vehicle.
Reservation and Cancellation Information
- Reservations can be made up to six months in advance.
- All reservations must be made at least three days in advance.
- No refunds will be given for lack of attendance or inclement weather.
- If a cancellation is requested more than fourteen days prior to the event, 50% of the base fee will be retained as a cancellation fee. No refund can be given if the cancellation is requested any time within the fourteen days prior to the rental.
