The park is currently open to hunting. Target shooting is prohibited at all times. Hunting is prohibited at Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, adjacent to Lory State Park to the south, please be aware of boundary lines. Blaze orange is required of big and small game hunters. Hunters are required to register at the Visitor Center PRIOR to hunting. All harvests must be reported. Lory is located in Unit 19, please refer to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife big game brochure for specific seasons. Hunting in the park is controlled.
