Mueller offers over 50 miles of trails that offer many opportunities to explore the beautiful foothills of the Rockies.
Mueller State Park's trails are accessible via foot, horseback or mountain bike.
Please call the Visitor Center before heading to the park to double check weather conditions when planning your visit.
Always take a Mueller State Park trail map with you.

Sept. 14-17, 2023: Trails 33, 34 and a small section of 17 are open but there will be trail crews using machinery to install culverts. Please avoid the area.
Starting on Sept. 4-21, 2023, the trail crew will be working on Geer Pond Trail #25. This section will remain closed to all trail traffic starting at the Tenderfoot BCC and going to the intersection of Beaver Ponds Trail #26. Trail #25 will remain open, but it will be busy with equipment traffic, so please be advised to explore elsewhere in the park.
Also, trail crews will be in the park working on the hills of Lost Pond and Geer Pond trails starting on Sept 11th. This is expected to be a 3 week project. The trail will remain open for use.
PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON ANY TRAILS, IN THE BACKCOUNTRY, IN THE PONDS OR IN PARK BUILDINGS INCLUDING RENTAL CABINS AND VISITOR CENTER.
