The archery range at Trinidad State Park is open

Located in Carpios Cove, the range is free to use (with a valid parks pass), and open year-round from sunrise to sunset (unless closed for maintenance or special events).
The archery range offers:
- a shooters' shelter with six lanes:
- five installed target butts that range between 10 and 50 yards
- a sixth lane is open for use of 3-D targets
- a self-serve station
- picnic tables
- restroom facilities.
Archery range rules:
- The use of broadheads, crossbows, and firearms is prohibited.
- Shooters 16 years old and younger must have direct adult supervision at all times.
- Pets, smoking and alcohol are prohibited.
