The lake is at 699 surface acres with a surface elevation of 6181.58. All shorelines
are open for fishing. Water temperature around 64 degrees. Fishing has been
considered good all around the lake.
South Shore fishermen were catching trout with powerbait and Dough bait off the
bottom. 12-15in trout are common, good numbers of bass/perch reported as well.
Grass has choked much of the shallower coves around the lake.
Boaters have had success targeting all species in mid to shallow water. Bass/perch
during the cooler hours and trout all day.
Reilly Canyon: Reports of catfish on worms and liver along with perch with
worms. Trout common as well.
Boaters have had success catching trout and walleye. Trolling with worms or
spinners seems to be the go to rig. Reports of walleye caught in 8-14ft
Smallmouth early in mornings and evenings.
