OHV Riding at Jackson Lake State Park
The new OHV track is open daily from 8 AM to sunset year-round.
The Jackson Lake OHV track is laid out in a 1.5 mile loop over rolling prairie terrain. The track is designed with the novice rider in mind.
Since OHVs (except those licensed with DMV) are not permitted on roads or in other areas of the park, they must be trailered in to the staging area which is the Cottonwood parking lot. Complete information may be found by downloading our
The staging area is located on the south side of Jackson Lake State Park at the Cottonwood parking lot. A park pass is required on all vehicles accessing the area, and all OHVs must be registered, but there is no additional track use fee.
Registering Your OHV
All OHVs must be properly registered for operation on public property. If the OHV has never been registered in Colorado, the vehicle will need to be inspected at the time of registration.
Colorado OHV Program
Before your adventure begins, familiarize yourself with Colorado's Off-Highway Vehicle Program, and its related information to ensure your safety and enjoyment as a responsible rider.
