OHV Riding at Jackson Lake State Park

The OHV track is open daily from 8 AM to sunset year-round.

The Jackson Lake OHV track is a 1.5 mile loop over rolling prairie terrain. The track is designed with the novice rider in mind.

Since OHVs (except motorcyles licensed with Colorado DMV) are not permitted on roads or in other areas of the park, they must be trailered in to the staging area which is the Cottonwood parking lot. Complete information may be found by downloading our OHV Brochure.

The staging area is located on the south side of Jackson Lake State Park at the Cottonwood parking lot. A park pass is required on all vehicles accessing the area, but there is no additional track use fee.

Registering Your OHV

All OHVs must be currently registered for operation on public riding areas. If the OHV has never been registered in Colorado, the vehicle will need to be inspected at the time of registration. OHVs can be registered at the visitor center.
