State Forest State Park offers 2 corrals. One at the Bockman Campground and one in the Primitive loop at the end of CR41 near the Canadian River Trailhead. Water is available in Bockman and at the cabins at North Michigan Reservoir.
The Bockman Horse Corral has 4 sections allowing 3 horses in each section. The corral trail is accessible and is located between site #309 and #311 on the east side of Bockman Campground. These corrals were generously gifted by The Roundup Riders of the Rockies Heritage and Trails Foundation.
The Corral at the Canadian River Trailhead, has 18 stalls. Camping is available next to the corral (reservation only). There are hitching rails available. This facility was generously donated by The Northern Colorado Backcountry Horsemen.
