The Ranch Hand Picnic Area is perfect for large family and group events such as company picnics for wedding receptions.

Fees

  • $160-collected when your application is approved for your event
  • If cancellation is requested 14 days or more prior to the event, $112.50 will be returned to you.  If cancelled within 13 days of the event, no refund is given.  Refunds are not given for weather.
  • These fees do not include vehicle entrance fees.

  • Large covered pavilion
  • Holds up to 100 guests
  • 26 parking spaces plus 2 Handicap spaces (reserved for your event)
  • 10 picnic tables
  • Electrical outlets, lighting, and countertops for serving
  • Water available June 1st - October 15th
  • Horseshoe pit
  • 2 large double charcoal grills
  • Vault toilets

After reviewing our availability calendar below, you can request to reserve the Ranch Hand Group Picnic Area by emailing staunton.park@state.co.us with the facilities you are interested in, the date you want it, and the group size.  Please allow 7 days for a response.
