D loop in the campground is open all winter. Reservations are still highly suggested for stays over 3 days. We remain very busy during the winter season.
Campground Registration Office hours; 9-4 daily. When the Campground Office is closed, please use a check or exact cash at the self-serve fee station (next to the Campground Office building). Also a parks pass is required on all vehicles entering the park and this fee is separate from the camping fees.
Chatfield is very busy during the summer season and you will need a reservation as we are full every weekend at least 4-5 months in advance.

Camping reservations can be made through Aspira by calling 1-800-244-5613. Camping reservations for individual sites CANNOT BE MADE BY CALLING THE PARK.
D-loop is on reservations year-round.

Campers need to access the campground from our Plum Creek entrance off of Titan Road and North Roxborough Road. The main park road from the west side is closed..
DOUGLAS COUNTY FIRE BAN INFORMATION:
A STAGE 1 Fire Restriction is now in place for Unincorporated Douglas County. Ordinance No. O-0120004 restricts open fres, open burning, and the use of fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County.
- Open burning of any kind
- Use of Fireworks
- Fires within liquid-fueled or gas fueled stoves, fireplaces within buildings, charcoal grill fires within developed and commercial areas, and fires within wood burning stoves within buildings only.
- Small recreational fires at developed picnic or campgroung sites contained in a fixed or permanent metal/steel fire pits with flames not in excess of four feet and supervised by a responsible person over the age of 18.
Violation of these fire restrictions are punishable by a fine.
